The Year of Our Lord, 2033, January 26
“Senate Proclamation #2784: On the 100th anniversary of the New Deal, 2033, the Republican party has bravely and valiantly rolled back all the failed New Deal polices. We have finally got liberal regulators off our backs so that we can return to the happy days when the free market reigned. We have restored family values, ridding us of the welfare state. The downfall started back with FDR and the New Deal handouts, the resurrection of freedom begins today. We give great thanks to He who made this possible, the humble George W. Bush. This country will be much better when things were like they were before the welfare state. So today we, the ruling Republican Party, hereby proclaim today New Deal Death Day”, Paris Hilton, senior senator from New York. “Daddy Bush is getting old but we plan to clone him and keep him running again”, Jenna Bush-Schwarzenegger. A Republican Monitor Tribute to of one of His successful programs: “The youth of our time, especially inner-city youth, lacked morals; folks were more spiritual when they worked down on the farm. Adversity builds character, so I proposed the Tom Joad character development program, a work experience program. The inspiration for this policy came from that movie the Grapes of Wrath; starring Henry Fonda, I think it was also a book too, I really don’t read that much”. *GWB In the Joad Adversity Program (JAP) poor youth were not given cash handouts which breeds contempt, slothfulness and idleness. Instead they were allowed to engage in hard physical labor at selected sites. Folks worked and lived at these JAP camps in safety and security yet with the appropriate amount of adversity to build strong moral character. The Organizational Manager (TOM) of the program, Prince Jackson, is the son of Michael Jackson a late 20th century singer and musician. Most of the workers don’t call him by his formal title of TOM but in a sense of family, they all call him Uncle. Mr. Jackson stated, “My daddy used to keep us all locked down in Neverland for our protection, so I know what kind of firm-hand discipline these kids need”. The parents of these fortunate youth were then relocated to local independent campsites. Before the New Deal folks were able to live in non-government camps called Hoovervilles, where people could get on about their business without governmental aid. Be sure and vote Republican again this year and there could soon be a new Bushburg near you. (actually not near you my Republican friends, no, no, we would be sure and set them up across town away from your children as they shouldn’t have to see such things) (To enroll your Republican supporting
company as a JOAD work place call 1-800 TOM-JOAD) Opportunity not charity. |
