We all know that Wal-Mart is bad, but sometimes when talking about it with the not-yet-informed, we lack the facts to make our points. Last year, Rep. George Miller put out this 25-page report detailing the problems with Wal-Mart from an employee and economics perspective.
You'll find all the facts here, from employee abuse, discrimination, how Wal-Mart impacts wages in communities and the country as a whole, how it affects unionization in other companies, and more!

We suggest reprinting it and standing outside of Wal-Marts nationwide, and giving it to potential customers. Set up a table on the sidewalk (city property) with a sign that says "WHY WAL-MART IS BAD FOR AMERICA." You'll get harassed, but if it's city property, they can't do anything. Check with your City Hall to be sure.
