Bush Has A Change of Heart
President not alone in protesting his policies; sudden shift baffles experts
by by Sam Palmisano, correspondent
Washington D.C.—President George
W Bush may be developing a shift in his emotions about his previous "Rush
to War" attitude with Iraq. Psychologists around the country all
said this is the first time they ever came across a public figure with
this kind of behavior. Three of the possibilities they think it could
be are a late mid-life crisis, multiple personality disorder, or a little
of both.
In recent times as the antiwar movement continues to grow exponentially, President George W Bush began to understand the opposing point of view concerning war with Iraq. He has stated that war in Iraq would not benefit anyone but a couple big oil companies, and that individuals cannot be replaced as easily as oil. "Considering my pro-life stance, this is all starting to make more sense to me". In this photo, president Bush stands while chanting "No Blood for Oil", and "Drop Me, Not Bombs."
"I guess everyone has the ability to look at something two different ways, especially with some alcohol or marijuana involved" says University of Richmond Psychology Professor Dr. Ping Li who has recently spoke with president Bush. He also goes on to say that sometimes people are just on the fence about their decisions and confusion can corrupt a person's mind when they first make a major choice in life.
Other experts have said the reasoning behind this
psychological phenomena is simple. They feel Bush had simply pressed his
war campaign aggressively enough to let the impending process of attacking
Iraq gain so much momentum-which includes the congress giving him the
rubber stamp to go ahead with the violence and 100,000 plus troops surrounding
Iraq-that he feels the need to protest himself. They also concluded Bush
indeed found out later after he thought deeply about his decision for
this mass killing of Iraqis and Americans as senseless and wrong.
