Bush Doubles Oil Price is a compilation of articles, letters, essays and poems, which aim to help us find truth, especially in politics. It asks the question, "What ethical basis do we want for our government?"

The book's fictional president says, "No lie is immoral if it brings us to follow what we are instructed by God." Dr. Aaron's answer is unwavering and strong, the four-letter word. "Ouch." Wars and genocides start with those kind of words.

No more grave than our newspaper headlines, his character's words are, yes, deadly. The motto, "I know God," often comes from corrupt politicians. We can do better than this.

Perhaps you have heard of Lili Putian who lives in the book, trapped in the fictional country of Nacirema, Lili survives her “emotionally undersized” country in the story of Lili Putian, subtitled, Gulliver's Travels Updated.

Lili bites deeply into the harsh culture of Fundamentalists who run the morally backwards country of Nacirema. In Gulliver’s Travels, Jonathan Swift depicts with caustic accuracy the base instincts of society, satirizing politicians of his day. Swift modestly proposed helping the poor by having them sell their babies to the rich as delicacies. In Lili we have lies, torture and the use of our bodies to feed the endless needs of Fundamentalist billionaires. Sexual exploitation overcomes love's pleasure and reproductive purpose.

As bad as any other immoral behavior, financial exploitation overcomes a society where all citizens could be living at ease. Destruction of the family through lowered wages is financial immorality. And it kills. It’s the President, stupid—his war—his fictional coterie of neo con-men. What is wrong with this man?

Aaron relates his fictional president to the corporate-run, Republican presidencies of Harding and Coolidge whose policies lead to the Great Depression, taking place just months later under another Republican, Hoover. See www.whitehouse. gov/history/presidents/wh29.html, /cc30.html and /hh31.html.

Until now, no President allowed himself to be so photographed in cowboy dress as did Coolidge. His first message to Congress emphasized tax cuts for corporations, undermining small business and salaried workers, and leading directly to the great economic breakdown.

Until now, no President slashed taxes using Harding's motto, “Less government in business. More business in government.” Our present administration adds, "More Church in government…" This is financial and also Constitutional immorality.

"Bush Doubles Gas Price," a poem, enumerates the sexual debacles of the Bush Dynasty.

"Bush Doubles Oil Tax," the closing story, explains why prices are higher and salaries lower. It shows you in clear, easy terms how a family of high-profit companies collects the money that belongs in your personal family pocket.

"A Connecticut Yankee in King Georges Court" compares our "Texan's values" to the Declaration of Independence.

There is much more for you to use on the way to 11/2, as well as fine cover art by R.L. and our own Ian Kleinfeld.
